Obstacle Sports Club Affiliation
British Obstacle Sports is committed to guiding and supporting UK grassroots obstacle sports activities, safeguarding the sport so it is always safe, accessible and available to all, whilst protecting the unique nature of the sport for future generations.
As part of this commitment, we are continuing to expand our club affiliation programme, the aim of which is to develop club structures within the UK in line with our organisational objectives, ensuring this is done in partnerships with the clubs themselves.

British Obstacle Sports is committed to safeguarding children and adults in sport. From ensuring best practice and recognising poor practice to understanding how to report concerns quickly and effectively, we believe that making obstacle sports fun, enjoyable and safe is everyone’s responsibility.
As part of your application we request that all clubs agree to adhere to the British Obstacle Sports – Safeguarding & Protecting Children Policy,
We ask that all clubs appoint Welfare Officers and submit evidence of the relevant persons having completed an appropriate safeguarding training course and that DBS/Disclosure checks are also undertaken.
