Obstacle Explorers

Designed to engage every child, regardless of confidence or ability, Obstacle Explorers gives pupils permission to play, explore and overcome obstacles together. Built around physical literacy, teamwork, problem-solving and confidence, it helps children develop key movement and life skills through adaptable challenges that can be delivered indoors or outdoors, within curriculum or extra-curricular settings. Developed by British Obstacle Sports and Pentathlon GB in partnership with the Youth Sport Trust, the programme reflects the values of integrity, excellence, courage and community, while supporting the national curriculum and creating an exciting pathway into obstacle sport ahead of its Olympic debut at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games as part of modern pentathlon.
