Depending on their ages, kids can race 1, 1.5 or 3km, each with kid friendly obstacles.
Our fifth British OCR Youth Championships (previously named British OCR Junior Championship) will be held on Saturday October 17th, 2026.

Kernow Killer is an obstacle course event which pairs deviously designed obstacles with the tough Cornish landscape.
Ages 6+
Kernow Killer is an established event in both sporting and social calendars and revels in the success of being tough enough for those who really want to push themselves, but achievable for those who are participating for the first time.
Set in the wonderful Scorrier House Estate competitors will be faced with barriers to climb over, under and through; obstacles to scramble over and swim or wade through. 10K and 5K and 2.5K courses which will test your mental and physical powers – and you will realise that getting to the end is a team effort!
The second European Ninja Championship will be held in Pilsen, Czech Republic on 29th October – 1st November, 2026
Following on from the success of the first European Ninja Championship in Poland in 2025, this competition will build on the atmosphere, excitement and emotions, whilst giving athletes the chance to show their skills and attempt challenging obstacles. Competitors from all over Europe will come together to fight for the title of European Champion.
Qualification to the event is gained via British Obstacle Sports. Elite selection can be guaranteed by achieving a podium result at the British Ninja Championship or winning the 2025 Ninja Sport UK league. Age group entry is via application to British Obstacle Sports. Please refer to our selection policy for more details
The 90 minute Halloween Blackout event combines the thrill of the Nuclear Wild Forest obstacle course with spooky surprises, live actors and more.
As dusk settles, you will go out on course with your dedicated instructors or will you dare to go out in total darkness? Expect tricks, treats and a few frights along the way.
Perfect for kids, teens, families and brave adults, the Halloween Blackout is a unique mix of fitness, fun and fear.
Fancy dress is absolutely encouraged (we just can’t promise it’ll stay clean)
Ages 6+
Brutal Halloween @ Hogmoor is the annual Brutal evening halloween run. It is like a purpose built Brutal playground formed by use by the Army in years gone by and more recently has been a recreational area for public use. As per usual, this event will feature a kids race with a 3.3K loop course. Adults and children over the age of 13 will have the option of running either 2 loops for a 6.6K run or 3 loops for a 10K run. Adults are able to run their first lap with a child starting at 1745 and then continue on afterwards if they wish to do 2 or 3 laps.

Choose your distance on our award winning 6K or 12K muddy obstacle course. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned obstacle racer, the course is designed to be fun and challenging for all fitness levels.
Expect a mix of natural and man-made muddy obstacles, from woodland and bogs to our famous Deathslide.
6K : Ages 14+
12K : Ages 16+
An endurance obstacle challenge for seasoned and fearless racers!
This 24K + course covers rugged farmland, woodland, lakes, and muddy terrain over multiple 6K laps, participants will tackle 70+ high-intensity natural and man-made obstacles per lap.
Chip-timed, the race is designed to test stamina, strength and mental toughness, while allowing racers to pace themselves and enjoy the adventure.
Ages 18+
Spider Hill at Long Valley is yet another great challenging route! A single 10K lap route including Alligator Swamp, Swan Lake, Muddy Mile and Duck Pond. This is our wettest Brutal race and a favourite amongst our regular Brutaleers!
In 2022 we added a 5K route option for the first time. This is a shortened version of the main 10K route. You will still get the mud, water and hills, just in a smaller dose!
One or two laps of a 5 mile / 8K course taking you into the sand dunes, with an abundance of hill climbs later. Water features to cool runners off before subsequent climbs where the course twists and turns before heading back into the arena. All in all a true Brutal race to finish the year providing excellent viewing areas for the family and friends very close to the arena. Medal for all finishers.

We regularly have over 100 kids and adults doing OCR training with us each week at our award winning training facility and we have now firmly established a multiple award winning annual race weekend at our fantastic venue. We’re inviting participants from across the UK and abroad to come and take on a fresh, exciting and fun challenge!

This is a unique obstacle course race as it features the KRYPTON FACTOR Obstacle course, as seen on TV & Film, the most famous and arguably the hardest assault course in the UK.
A choice of 5K, min 38 obstacles and 10K, min 53 obstacles. Off road routes that include a 900m river run, marsh, bog, woodland, rough hilly ground interspersed with tracks and fields, and if that was not enough, at the end you will encounter 850m of deep mud and water between 24 plus obstacles to negotiate on route to the finish.
The obstacles are evenly, tightly spread around the course. They are large and over half have more than one component to them, to climb, jump, wade, swing and crawl over and under. It will seem endless and you will need to dig deep and muster every bit of stamina to maintain your pace and position. The harder you push yourself, the more intense it will become and relief will only come when you cross the famous double K’s finish line of the Krypton factor.
This race is designed to minimise queuing at obstacles and is run by ex parachute regiment soldiers, who know tough.
Adrenalin Shock 10K, is a qualifying race for European & world OCR championships.
The minimum age for the 10K route is 16yrs.
The minimum age for the 5K route is 12yrs (must be accompanied by an adult/guardian).

The OPP 400 is an obstacle heavy 400 metre race with a mix of both banded and mandatory obstacles.
If you like lots of technical obstacles but don’t want to run miles before you actually see some, then this is definitely for you.
