National Athlete Council

The National Athlete Council (NAC) are the elite athlete representatives for British Obstacle Sports acting as a source of opinion and advice on policies that affect competitive obstacle sports in the UK.

British Obstacle Sports require 8-10 international standard representatives to serve on this council. This is a public voluntary role in line with the British Obstacle Sports’ commitment to transparency and fair competition.

The NAC is connected to the International Athlete Advisory Council via the Athlete Advisory Board (AAB) and the Western Europe delegates of the council (Ms. Ida Mathilda Steensgaard (DEN), Mr. Thomas Buyle (BEL).
