Safety Management Committee

Some of the key activities carried out by the Committee:

• Establishing, reviewing and enforcing standards in  safety, incident reporting, emergency response plans and protocols for operators, equipment, course design, and participant conduct.
• Recommending training programmes for operators and volunteers on safety procedures, first aid, and emergency response.
• Providing participants with information on safety guidelines, proper use of equipment, and potential risks associated with the sport.
• Promoting a culture of safety through regular communication, and awareness campaigns among operators, participants, and spectators.
• Facilitating best practice knowledge sharing between operators, centres, and coaches.
• Liaising with legal experts on guidance and guidelines that are put into the public domain.
