Licencing & Affiliation Panel

The Panel is established to take delegated responsibility, on behalf of the Board, for  ensuring licensed events and affiliated centres are reviewed for compliance purposes, before being promoted to our members. In that respect, the following key activities will be carried out by the Panel:

• Evaluating applications for licensing and affiliation against BOS criteria outlined in event licensing and affiliation agreements.
• Ensuring applicants meet requirements for insurance, safeguarding, risk assessments, legal compliance, and financial sustainability.
• Documenting any feedback to event operators and centres with regards to licensing and affiliation. 
• Providing feedback to the relevant committees on improvements to documentation that is shared with event operators and centres.
• Reviewing the licensing and affiliation policies that are in place and providing feedback to the Board.
