British Championships Organising Committee

Key activities carried out by the Committee:

• Management of the championship tender process
• Recommending and formalising the appointment of the championship organiser(s), liasing with relevant Technical Committees and the Board.
• Supporting the formation and function of the event organising team, ensuring clear roles, accountability, and appropriate declarations of interest.
• Overseeing the development and implementation of a robust event delivery plan.
• Coordinating all technical and competitive aspects in line with the British Obstacle Sports rulebook, collaborating with the applicable Technical Committee.
• Developing and implementing a marketing and communications plan in conjunction with the host organiser,
• Ensuring the event experience aligns with BOS standards and values.
• Promoting participation and inclusion across all demographics, including strategies to increase youth attendance, adaptive athlete involvement, and engagement from underrepresented groups. 
• Collating and reviewing post-event feedback from athletes, officials, and stakeholders, and conducting a formal debrief with recommendations for future improvements shared with the board and relevant technical committee
