British OCR Youth Championships 2026
Our fifth British OCR Youth Championships (previously named British OCR Junior Championship) will be held on Saturday October 17th, 2026 and will be hosted by The Storm Race.
3K Course for ages 10-13 years (Age Groups: 10-11 & 12-13)
5K course for ages 14-17 years
British Obstacle Sports membership is required for all competitive entrants.
Non-Competitive wave available for ages 8 -10 years

No, and we welcome all levels and abilities for who would like to compete on a national level.
This said, the course is on off-road terrain so we recommend that athletes have completed either an obstacle race or trail running race before.
We also ask that you help us to support the sport by registering your child as a British Obstacle Sports member for competitive waves.
There are three age groups (10-11, 12-13, and& 14-17 ). These are based on an athletes age on race day.

Yes, you will be need to be a full under 18 member to take part. Membership is a fundamental part of our sport and helps the federation to grow and achieve official recognition from the UK Sports Councils.
